Sai Prasad to be next CS of AP, to take charge

Amaravati: The 1991-batch IA officer G. Sai Prasad will take office as the new Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. He succeeds present incumbent K Vijayanand.
The State Government extended the tenure of the current CS Vijayanand by three months till February 28 through GORT No. 2230 on November 29.
Sai Prasad, who enjoys a clean image, has been appointed as the new CS. He will take office as the new CS at AP Secretariat on Saturday at 11.33 am, officials said. Sai Prasad, who did M Tech, was selected to IAS and began his career as Assistant Collector, Warangal in the united Andhra Pradesh from June 1992 to May 1993.
